Some of my folders have lots of graphics files (JPG, GIF, BMP etc) so I set the View to "as Web Page" in order to see the thumbnail preview. I also like to keep the Arrange Icons setting to "Auto Arrange".

These settings will remain in place for days, sometimes weeks.

But then "something" removes the checkmarks from "as Web Page" and "Auto Arrange". Whatever that "something" is, it resets ALL my folders when it does its thing.

I know I'm doing this to myself, but I don't know what I'm doing!

My Folder Options setting is "Custom".

Please, what am I doing that's removing these checkmarks?

    I'm using Win98se
