Fortunately Norton caught a virus that infected a dlder.exe file. The dlder is about 40kb in size. What is dlder.exe and is vital to the workings of a computer system?
The attempt at restoration from win98 installtion cd failed. The dlder.exe file could not be found by the win98 installation cd.
Where did dlder, exe come from. could it have been downloaded from a windows update file?
Anyway could the virus etner from a new computer game such as NBA 2000 or 2001? . . . .I think I will stay with the new wolf 3d??
Norton describes he virus as W32dlder TRojan and 1234 bytes in size. Norton can not repair it - it is now quarantined. Should the file be submitted to SARC?
Curious and thanks for the feedback.
