    I recently set up sign on accounts for the different users on my computer. I did this on some advice from a computer "expert" who said that you should use your computer as a "nonadministrator" type to keep some spyware / viruses, etc. from being able to run. Since then, I think I may have picked up somethere here?? I haven't noticed any problems, but my firewall keeps telling me that eber.exe is requesting to access the internet, which I have not allowed to this point.

    Thanks, Dennis

    Is there another way to fix the problem? I don't have The Ultimate Troubleshooter? I don't see any reference to ClickSpring or Purityscan on my hard drive or in the HiJack This file posted earlier. Can you review my Hijack this file and give a recommendation?

    Thx, Dennis

    1° Log in safe mode (press F8 many times during the booting process) with your administrator account;

    2° Close all open windows, run HijackThis.exe and fix the following entries :

    No problem at all. Whenever you get a chance. I just upgraded Adaware to version SE from version 6, ran a full scan, and got a bunch of stuff that I think I've fixed before. There are a lot of stuff that's listed as AOL Spyware Backup files, !peperfix files that I fixed a few weeks ago, and from the System Volume Information/restore files. Should I check and delete all that stuff? I guess I'm confused by all the stuff that the new SE version found. Any help will be appreciated. No hurry :)

    I haven't heard anything for a while ... I think the PS2 thing I deleted had something to do with my keyboard?

    Does using limited sign-on names help to protect from viruses, spyware, etc., or does it matter?

    Is the HJT file I posted earlier clean now?

    Thanks for your help, Dennis
