Same results.
Using the path ( this is for the Linux version of FF) edit>preferences>privacy & security>permissions>notifications>settings....... I don't seem to be able to save the TSG url to the Notifications Setting box.

If I left-click on the green TSG Lock in the address bar>left click on the arrow for 'secure connections> left click on 'more information'> click on 'permissions', a menu opens up and the option 'send notifications' is apparent.
I changed from 'default' to 'allow' and TSG was saved

Whew!!

This helped.

Now to see if it works.

That should have put the entry where I said earlier that you weren't able to do for some reason.

Did you check your setting Mark to see if there's an entry there?
It is there. I do not recall putting it there. It must've done so when I initiated the request to allow push?

Well....:D

The settings were saved, but no joy on the 'push'.

The 'alert' does work well enough for me.
So I'll end my involvement for now.

That or your browser likely popped up asking you if you wanted to allow them and you responded yes to the request.

That's possible. As I said, I've slept since then ... ;-)

I once got the "push" a couple of times on FF...
sorta figured it was enhanced, and possibly more aggressive (if you will) version of the standards "alerts" feature.
So I said no, with no recollection of how I dismissed that.

Having said that, I might have enabled it for a short while.

Like Lunarlander and Johnny, sorta thought i it was an updated version of the TSG BB software style that had that option.
But I too, have slept since then...perhaps fitfully, nightmare-ishly.
Alerts are fine here, so far :)
