    Hello,

I have an Acer Aspire T300 XP computer with a 40 GB harddrive.

I am considering adding a 750 GB Seagate HDD, but it has been suggested to me that the T300 motherboard will not recognise as much as 750 GB.

Can somebody please advise on this.

    My system details are

Product Acer Aspire T300 Version Acerpower Serial Number 0321005

    CPU Intel Celeron 4A, 2000 MHz ( 5 x 400 ) CPU Alias Northwood-128

Motherboard Chipset SiS 651 System memory 503 MB ( DDR SDRAM)

    Motherboard ID 03/05/203-Sis-61-6A6IXDDC-00
    Motherboard name unknown

    Effective clock 400MHz
    Bandwidth 3200 MB/s

    Many thanks. bj_van
