Hi all, this is my first post ever to this site. Need some help. Please check out the attached files. They are pictures of my computer screen I took with my phone. Please note, the problem IS NOT my monitor. It works fine with another computer.

Just a little background...About 6 months ago, I started seeing thin dark pink/light red vertical lines on anything being displayed on the monitor (not the background). About 2 weeks ago, the display got very bad very fast, and now looks like what is in the pictures.

I tried adjusting a few settings on the computer, and no change. I have also taken out the video card and cleaned it (it was very dirty), but it is the original and the computer is around 8 years old. The computer is an HP Pavilion a250N.
