What power pack do i need ?????????????

    i have a new pc amd sempron, 80 gig HD G-force 6 and 512 ddr ram. now can some 1 tell me what power pack voltage i should use. please help me

    yes man it came back at about 375 watts but i could not anser the corect processer as it was not listed but thanks for the help now and am going to go for a 450 or 500 depends on which 1 i can get my hands on thank you

    i would get 500 watts or better also you may have to select 20 or 24 pin mainboard connection. some 20 pin mainboards you can use the 24 pin power supply , none of the 24 pin mainboard you can use a 20 pin power unit.

    so a need a 20 pin mobo PSU am going for a 500 watt one thanks for your help pugmug

    You can get a ATX 12VOLT 20 OR 20+4 pin and even a 24 pin but adaptor needed there psu.

    Most, not all, 20 pin mainboards you do not need an adapter for the 24 pin power supplis.
    If you look on the 24 pin connector on the power supply there is a line that says 20 pin. So you would just plug in to the 20 pin with 4 pins hanging over. Some of the older mainboards have caps or whatever in the way, so on those, yes the adapter.
