My computer has slowed down and, while I know how to work many of the programs associated with my computer; ie word, works, etc, I'm clueless as to the basics that make up the operations.

I've run defrag and registry clean up but at any given time I have over 70 processes running.

    Any help is greatly appricated.

Thats about right for Viista, how much installed memory do you have?

Vista likes at least 2gb to run well.
