what RAM type to use?

    hi,
    i have Acer 1.5ghz 256ram 128vid WinXP notebook;
    i want to add more ram;
    how do i know which type of ram is compatible
    and whats the difference?

    it tells me to install a plug-in to work.
    can u tell me how to determine in a regular
    way (without proggs from enet)?

    You can go to the same site and just enter the make and model of your computer.

    You can also get SIW which will tell you what memory you have now. It's free and no need to install.
