I've been fooling around with this converter tryin to find out what will work and what won't. So far I've found that:

176x144 --------> WORKS
320x200 --------> WORKS
640x300 --------> DOES NOT WORK.

So my question to you is:

What is the maximum movie resolution that will upload to my iPod?

Thanks

P.S. not sure if this is in the right forum... didn't know where else to put it.

From the PSP Video forum, there is this:

While the video decoder chip on the iPod was designed to support up to MPEG-4 VGA (640x480) resolution (or 307200 pixels), the iPod maximum video resolution is currently limited to 230400. The iPod does seem to oddly support any resolution within this restriction (ie no divisible by 16 requirement) so the following square pixel resolutions are supported:
720x320 (2.25:1)
640x360 (16:9)
480x480
720x306 (2.35:1)
