What's that stoplight thingy???

Recently, when Internet Explorer opens, a stoplight appears in the system tray, stays a moment, then disappears. I have searched your threads and don't find this addressed. Neither Norton AV or AdAware address it. The loading seems to stop until the stoplight goes away. Is it necessary? What is it there for?

Do I have to catch it while it's there or is there another place I can go to find it? right now, it's not visible.

If it looks like the attachment lower right then it is Norton System doctor that is running in background. You can disable it.

Dave's suggestion would be the most likely choice. If not though, open my computer>C:>should see something like "mysql".

 

This looks like Norton is doing the job we hired it for. I'll just leave it alone. Glad the site is back!! We computer illiterates really appreciate you people.
