........... and when it does, can I uninstall it and then use the old Office 2003 Outlook to recover the .pst backup file? It seems to me that when I "export" Outlook to a backup file it doesn't offer any options to be saved to a 2003 file format? :(
I have saved all my Word/Excel docs under the "word/excel 2003.doc" so don't anticipate any problems there. (y)
Will there be a hidden "fix" on the net so we can continue to use the Beta version beyond the yet to be announced date?

Your files won't be a problem and the Outlook PST files work across both 2003 and 2007 platforms (they use the same file). As far as the beta is concerned, I dont' believe there is a cut-off date. There were a lot of issues fixed though. :)

Beta cut-off for non-TR2 updates was 1/31/07. With the TR2 update will get you until 3/31/07. After that it's either buy the full version, or download a 60-day trial.

Update - it will tell you that it's expired, but will go into "reduced functionality" mode. I only used the Outlook 2007 beta, so it wouldn't let me create a new email message, but would still let me send/receive mail.

    I did end up upgrading.
