    Hi,

    I need to put a DLL file somewhere to make a programme work. But it didn't come with a README file.

    VC++7 (msvcr71.dll)

    Would someone please tell me where to put this. I have tried putting it the application folder, but it did not work.

    Thanks in advance for the help.

    You may need to register it.

    Start>run>type cmd>click ok.

    In the command prompt type regsvr32 msvcr71.dll and press enter.

    If that didn't work, try putting the .dll file in the C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder and register the .dll again.

    Code:
    msvcr71.dll was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was
    not found.

    DllRegistrServer may not be exported, or a corrupt version of
    msvcr71.dll may be in memory. Consider using PView to detect and
    remove it.
    OKay, this is in English, but I have no idea what my computer is trying to say to me. Please help. :(
