Some time ago we reformatted a ME, PC with 2000 Professional for my husband. I was messing around on it today and made a goof, and thought oh well I will do a system restore. Well it AIN"T there! I was surprised because ME system had it and it is an older OS than 2000. Why isn't it there and is there a way to get it?

W2K does not have it - the NT based systems did not get it until XP

thanks, really wish we would have put ME back in after formatting. Never gave me many problems and had so many features that this doesn't have. Would do it but had so many problems "hooking" up the router and I am not that savvy to do it myself. Guess he will have live with it. Thanks again

Tell us about the 'goof', perhaps we can help you fix it without System Restore.
