Where can I find my registry file & what is it called? (winXP Home)
Here's why I ask. I had a media jukebox program installed on a seperate partition. I did not make a backup of the music library files. I deleted my system directory & partition when I bought this new hard drive and re-installed windows and all my other software. But I did make a Image of the c:\ drive before deleting it so I have all the old windows files.
Now, I want to run the Media Jukebox so that I can create a backup of its library, but it wont open and says "registry control failed" or something like that, because the new system registry does not have any keys or values for this software. I would like to find my "old" registry and copy the values into the new one so that the program will work one more time. Can this be done? That's why I need to know what the name of this registry file is so I can find it.
