Well I am starting to teach myself C++ and would appreciate and suggestions on a good free (if there is a good free one)compiler. I am operating under WinMe. Thanks in advance.

Your welcome! If it is not what you are looking for, then search through downloads.com and find something you like! Good Luck! I'm going to start learning C++ when I get done with Python (almost there!), PERL, and Java. I'm estimating that I will be done with assembly in 5 or so years. Haven't learned it yet. When I get linux, I am going to read LOTS of code and mess with it so that I can get lots of experience. I'll be rich! (mwa haa mwa haa!) Got high hopes!
