    Now maybe I would know that if general math in school went that high. Plus that was 28 years ago. I dont work much with mega, kila, giga, tera, and peta in my life.

    kilobyte is 2 to the 10th power so techically a kilobyte is 1024 bytes (2 to the 10th).

    Binary not metric.
