Hi, I currently have a Dell Dimension 4100 with 128MB RAM running Windows ME. Is it just me, or does ME completely suck? It seems very unstable to me and I can't seem to run McAfee under it without crashing multiple times a day. I'd like to rebuild and I have CDs for 98SE and 2000, but am not sure which one is the better OS... or should I go out and buy XP?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

Since you already have 2000, unless you just want to spend some money ;), I recommend installing 2000.

If you want to spend some money, then I agree with Memory Loss, go with XP.

get rid of Mcaffee (uninstall it) its not WinME, its McCheapie. get free AVG 6 from http://www.grisoft.com

WinME works great for me. Save yourself the expense.
