I'm thinking about buying a smartmedia card reader with usb interface. I currently use a FLASHPATH diskette adapter. Before I buy the card reader..I have a few questions:
1. Compared to the data xfer rate of the diskette adapter (which I assume is comparable to a floppy drive...which is 300ms) how much faster are those readers?
2. I see some cheapies for under $20. Are there disadvantages to those vs. the more expensive ones...aside from being able to read other formats?
3. Is there one brand of USB smartmedia card reader that is a lot faster than the others?
