Why do you like the computer?

Post in this thread why you like the computer. I like the computer because it allows me to communicate with my friends no matter where they are. It also allows me to have a website where I can express my self. It's also just a really fun thing to do for me to pass the day. How about you?

I love to learn something new every day, and what better place to do that then on a computer. I like this quote I found today by Albert Einstein: "I have no particular talent. I am merely inquisitive".
- Albert Einstein

**Today I learned this: Lightening is 3 times hotter than the surface of the sun. The surface temperature of our sun is around 10,000 degrees Farenheit, while lightening is 30,000 degrees.

First Name
I am a masochist.

My life wasn't complete until I bought a computer to that I could read adn be disturbed by Mr Mulder's incessant diatribes!:p

But seriously: I remember a time before computers (Yes! There was a time before computers!) when gathering information was a very difficult operation. Now, anyone can click and surf and find out information on just about any topic. The computer (and the internet) has truly made this the "Information Age".
