    Hi frineds!

I am experiencing a very intresting behaviour with my computer. It's regarding sound and multimedia. I have a 833 celeron with Windows 2K operating system. 810 E Intelchipset from tomato, onboard sound..

    Now the problem

The speakers of my computer generate excellent sound, but when I use a haead phone, the quality of sound degrades and the volume automatically becomes very slow, and I unable to use Micro phone to record voice.

I have re-installed the drivers N times, and tested n numbers of diffrent head phones from diffrent companies..

Can you help me with this problem..

Are the speaker and microphone connections reversed? Have you tried a different microphone to see if the current one is causing the problem? I have found that not all microphones work on all PC's.
