Why so many svshost in taskmanager?

    Im using xp he. When i look under the processes tab in task manager there are 5 copies of svchost running.

    Is this normal or was it caused by nachi, the virus that downloaded itself as scvhost.exe?

    It is quite normal to have several SVCHosts , I have 5 at present

    SVChost is the generic host process for services that are run from dynamic-link libraries (DLLs) which can be any number of things
