I have a Windows Vista, Dell Inspiron 531 desktop computer. I have the icon in the system tray to connect to a WIFI network. When I open the "Connect to a Network" it says there are no wifi networks. I have wifi through ATT Uverse. If I plug in an adapter, it pulls up the networks in my area and will let me connect. I have downloaded all the drivers and additional drivers I found on Microsoft but the computer still does not find any networks without the adapter. Please help :(

Your computer has no built-in Wifi, so you need that adaptor.
