My WiFi says that it’s connected, but there’s no internet access on my laptop. No matter what I do, it just won’t work. I’m getting really frustrated. I’ve reset things on the command prompt, I’ve reset my laptop multiple times, I’ve done multiple things. The internet on every other device is completely fine, so I don’t understand what the issue is. If anyone could help, I’d really appreciate it. It’s an msi laptop

Are other devices working on wifi?
Have you run ipconfig /all to see if you are actually getting a valid IP?

Yes everything else is working just fine. I did run ipconfig and it kept saying “media disconnected”. I googled it and tried following steps to fix that and nothing worked. I’m at a loss

Open a (black) Command Prompt window:
Hold the Windows logo key and press r; in the Run box type cmd and click on OK.
(In Windows 10 you may have to use some other procedure to get a Command Prompt window.)

Type the following command:

IPCONFIG /ALL

[Note that there is no space between the slash and ALL.]

[Press ENTER after the command.]

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
Paste the results in a message here.

If necessary use a text file and removable media to copy the results to a computer with internet access.

What does Device manager show under Network adapters?
Also brand and exact model of laptop so I can search for a manual to see if there is some sort of wifi switch that needs to be turned on.
