What firewall / security suite or anti-virus do you currently have on the PC - or you have ever had on the PC in the past - any trial ware - like Norton, kaspersky or Mcafee or any free security suites like zonealarm, AVG , Webroot etc

Earlier I had Avast but that was a long back about 8 months ago. Since then I am not using any antivirus.

Now when I connected to WiFI, a yellow symbol comes at the network lines and it shows Limited Access. And I can't open any website.

OK. So multiple places on same computer.

please complete the following tasks in Command Prompt (it may show that nothing is happening but it is):

    ipconfig/all > list.txt
    ping google.com >> list.txt
    ping 216.58.218.174 >> list.txt
    nslookup google.com >> list.txt & list.txt

When the text file opens, save the file to a usb stick if you have one and transfer to another computer to post it here if possible.

I tried the above command but no file was created by any step. A file is attached for your reference.
Can you tell some other suggestion.

Yeah; don't try to create a file directly to the "C drive." You'll get "Access denied." You can create a folder to C: and then create files in that folder.

It was given to me by a school. And I want to one more point that as wifi was not working, I didn''t use the laptop for 3 months and now I found that as soon as the battery mark reaches to 50%. It is totally discharged to 0% and shut down instantaneously automatically.

Remove those specified DNS servers and let them be assigned dynamically.

BTW, can you tell something about battery draining problem. At a time it is about 50% and then suddenly it goes to 0% causing the shutdown of laptop.

    ACER model - Aspire E1-431-B952G50M
