Okay. Long story short, ever since I've gotten this computer, I've had a wifi issue. I only use this computer at school so it has never really been a real priority to get the issue fixed, but now I'm trying to get everything straight.
The wifi speeds are pretty damn slow for what they are supposed to be. I have 85mbps for a hard wired connection for my desktop, a 70-80mbps wifi speed for my phone, and a 8mbps wifi speed for this laptop. I figured that the problem was the wifi card or whatever it's called in the laptop, so I decided to purchase a USB wifi adapter on amazon. When I plugged it in, I found that the speed was the same, if not worse then the built in wifi (The adapter is rated for 150mbps speeds). I also don't think this is a software issue or anything because I fresh installed windows 10 yesterday and the wifi speed is as slow as ever. Also, sometimes when I'm using chrome, chrome just stops responding and the wifi symbol on the taskbar has an exclimation point over it and I have no internet connection. It basically freezes up the whole computer. I don't know if that will help you narrow down the problem, but I just figured id mention it.

Here is a link to the driver page of my computer: http://support.toshiba.com/support/modelHome?freeText=2F037925C

Here is the link to the wifi adapter: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B003MTTJOY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Please help, it would be very much appreciated.

The USB adapter is not very good, but the major problem is likely the lack of a Windows 10 driver.

I didn't do any checking on your laptop. Do you have the latest Windows 10 wireless driver from Toshiba's web site installed?
