My WiFi connection keeps getting disabled. I have already adjusted the power setting to make sure wireless adapter down not get turned off. I have also made sure the computer is not going to sleep when plugged in.

But WiFi is still getting disabled. Any advice on how to fix this problem?

1. Please provide the make and full model of the computer if branded

2. Also please send the results of this - run the program and copy and paste the information in the white box
https://static.techguy.org/download/SysInfo.exe
it is our system information utility

3. You do not say which OS but presuming it is windows open a cmd prompt
and type
ipconfig /all

press enter and then when the results appear in the cmd window
right click the top bar of the window
click edit and then select all
right click the top bar again
click edit and copy and paste to your reply

4. Please also confirm if the adapter is inside the computer be it integrated wireless on a chip on the board or a card OR is it a plug in USB adapter
If the latter confirm the make and full model please

Also, exactly where and how do you re-enable the connection?

OK! Phew! For this particular information you can show this as this is known as a private IP but everyone has it. What is the correct IP?
As to the lease time, 1 hour is fine.

OK. So I am clear on the terminology being used here.

Your wireless connection does not work because the adapter is showing it's disabled? As in if you go to the Network Connections and it shows Disabled?
Or do you mean that your computer shows is connected to the wireless connection but when you go online, you are not able to go anywhere?

Well, I'm certainly NOT clear. alan222 said that he "re-enable the connection by disconnecting ...". I still don't really understand what a disabled connection means, and now I also do not know how something that is disabled can be disconnected. ???

If you have ICS (internet connection service) enabled but aren't really using it I suggest disabling it to see if your issue disappears.

Under network connection, it says “WiFi Disabled.”

Under network status, it says “your device Is connected” but “no internet access.”

If I want to reconnect WiFi, I have to “disconnect” from my WiFi network, and then “connect” again, and then the WiFi works fine again.
