You can still access the internet OK via an ethernet connection?

What firewall or security suite is, or ever was, on the system?

Open a (black) Command Prompt window:
Hold the Windows logo key and press r; in the Run box type cmd and click on OK.

    Type the following command:

    IPCONFIG /ALL

[Note that there is no space between the slash and ALL.]

    [Press ENTER after each command.]

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
Paste the results in a message here.

If necessary use a text file and removable media to copy the results to a computer with internet access.

In addition to Terry's request, what is the operating system on that machine?

The wireless and ethernet are connected to different routers. To what is each connected?

What is "advanced system 8"? If you mean Advanced SystemCare, that is capable of messing up a system pretty badly.

    Wireless DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 207.164.79.249
    Wired DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.254
from your report above. That shows each is using a different router.

If you only have one router, you need to configure both devices wired and wireless to connect to it.

If both routers are yours describe your complete network--from connection to ISP to your computer.

If one of the routers is not yours, which one and why?

Complete network: modem (brand and model), routers (brands and models), what is connected to what and any computers, tablets, playstations, connected to either router.
