    Hi,
Have a problem, I have an Ipad without cellular internet, however, this was not a problem because my workplace had free wifi for its employees however they have stopped this access but I was wondering if there is a way around this, I am right next to a wall network outlet which my work computer is connected to. Can I connect from my iPad to this wall outlet via a cat5 adaptor or any other ideas for me to get online with my iPad will be much appreciated

Does your iPad have a port to plug a CAT5 cable into?

If not, you'd have to ask your company's IT department if it would be okay to hook up a router with WiFi to your office's network port.

What has your IT department said about network access for your iPad?

    Thanks for the replies,
I think they sell adaptors for cat 5 cable to iPad, and I was not going to tell the IT department, the router is only about 3 metres away from where I sit, could I link into it that way..?? sorry if this sounds stupid but I really need to get back online...The days are so long without wifi...

And, thus, we are not going to offer any help with may be an attempt to circumvent restrictions of your workplace.
