What is the error in Device Manager for the wireless adapter? What (brand and model) is the adapter?

@TerryNet it doesn’t show any errors that’s the confusing thing !

The wireless adapter would not be showing in Device Manager w/o error if there were no driver installed.

Quite a bit different from your initial post!

The adapter is almost certainly dead or loose or has corroded contacts. If it is easily accessible through a small cover in the laptop's bottom remove and carefully reinsert it several times.

If it is not easily accessible or the procedure does not help I suggest to just use a USB wireless adapter.

You're welcome. :) And I agree about taking advantage of the guarantee. Good luck. Please update this thread with the results of your visit with the retailer.
