Solved Will deprecated HTML/CSS no longer work in the future?

    Has it ever been discussed among the browser manufacturers if deprecated HTML/CSS will not be supported in future browsers? Has the W3C said anything on this matter?

    It is highly likely that eventually they will be removed by browser manufacturers. Take the <blink> tag as an example that was deprecated some time ago and then removed by all browser manufacturers a while ago now. Deprecated means that there are newer better ways of achieving the same thing and you should replace your code with those new ways of working as soon as you can to ensure that your site continues to work as intended.
