I have Windows 98 second edition and after being on the internet my computer will not shut down first time. I always use control/alt/delete to shut down and then monitors goes off but leaves hard drive on and a white flashing curser on the screen. Any help as this drives me mad each time. :(

Well documented problem, that. There's a patch for shutdown problems with 98SE. It's available from the Mickey$oft website.

Thanks Katzy - do you have the actual website address as I put in Mickey$oft and got nothing - we are in the UK.
    Many thanks
