I have Win2000. Can it be set up so that when it is powered on:

1) it will bypass the login window or set up so that it automatically logs in?

2) Execute a program automatically?

I used to be able to do this in Win95 but don't know how to do in Win2000.

Easy way to have it logon for you is to install tweakui out of the microsoft powertoys.

http://www.microsoft.com/ntworkstation/downloads/PowerToys/Networking/NTTweakUI.asp

After you install it, you can run it from the control panel. The tab you will want is the logon tab.

To run a program at startup, all you will need to do is copy the program shortcut to the startup folder in the programs menu. Easy way to do it is when you are in the start menu, right click and drag the shortcut to the startup folder. When you let go it will ask to move, copy create shortcut or cancel. Just do a copy.
