I tried to go into safe mode on my laptop but it never wanted to. One thing led to anohter and now I've got a boot up problem with w2k Pro. Just as the computer starts up it stops and indicates the following..." \winnt\system32\config\system.sav startup options for Windows 2000, press F8." I've tried to do a repair using Win 2k Pro CD and tried a fast repair. No go. I can't do the auto recovery console because I don't have administrator rights to do the repair. My question is if I can get into ACR, will I be able to fix the computer? Obvious at it may sound, this is my work computer and am waiting for them to call and arrange to repair.. Any suggestions or programs that my help would be helpful...

    Thanks in advance..
