win 32 error

    Ok I am a blonde,, get the jokes over quick LOL
    I had a virus back in august,, that had to be removed manually.. followed the instructions 2 the letter ,, and went down the checklist of things that were supposed to be there after i removed the thing. All were there, since then i have been getting a system32exe error on start up. I re-checked the stuff that was supposed to be there,, everyone tells me i left something out ,, its all there,, no clue how 2 fix it,,i have the restore cd,, but no clue how 2 use it. any help is appreciated

    go to http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip , and download 'Hijack This!'.
    Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

    When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
    Press that, save the log somewhere, and please copy & paste its contents to the forum.

    It will possibly show issues deserving our attention, but most of what it lists will be harmless or even required, so do NOT fix anything yet.
    Someone here will be happy to help you analyze the results.
