I am trying to get a Mac (which is running XP using parallels) and a new HP running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit networked and accessing a NAS (a Buffalo hard drive). Each can access the drive separately, but there is a lot file corruption errors. As long as only one accesses the drive the files are fine...but I need both of them to be able to access the drive. I have both computers in the same workgroup (workgroup). I tried to install a copy of XP on the Windows 7 (separate partition) but the installation failed.
