I have a win98 computer in a business, and I am wondering if there is any way to secure it locally, other than locking it up. Is there program that would emulate win nt or 2000 logons to provide local logon security and prevent access to some of the employees? Thanx!

Win98 standalone security is non existent....NT/2000 is better but not foolproof. There are add-ons for Win98 that will allow you to pretty much lock down the entire computer and file system. A simple option would be to put a boot password in the BIOS.

Thanx,Rockn. Would a boot password work on more than just the bootup? What program can I use to log on a user in win 98(2000/nt not an option) appreciate the help!
