Win 98 To Win 98se??

Is it worth upgrading to WIN98SE from WIN 98, any real differences etc. Thanks.

If you have or can afford the price of the upgrade CD, I'd make the upgrade. A lot of the newer hardware and software require 98SE or newer to operate properly, and you can still get newly-released updates for 98SE. :) (y)

The W98 to W98SE UPDATE was free to download, and the CD was available for the price of shipping. Of course, this was a number of years ago... :)

I recommend the upgrade CD as opposed to the update CD. The former will allow you to do a clean install in the future which will install Win98SE directly. The latter will require you to start with Win98 and again update it to Win98SE. Be sure to keep your old Win98 CD as you will need it for certification when doing a clean install with the Win98SE upgrade CD.
