Everytime i restart my computer, the setting for how i like to view my folders changes. for example: i set a folder to be viewed as a web page, details and sorted by last modified. its fine the whole day. i shut off the comp at nite. in the morning when i start the comp, i'll go to that particular folder and it will open up in larger icons and no other setting.

Is there a fix for this?

Are you choosing "apply" when you are done?

    .. I would ..

.. open Windows Explorer ... tools .. folder settings .. and chose the view you want ... and this wil take effect for the whole computer ... hope this helps ..

.. if you have a "clean" restart .. it should stay the way you set it.
