I have a Pent II, 333 and I had a problem with my system and lost my operating system. I finally got a Win 95 cd and installed
it and used my Win 98 upgrade cd to get back to where I was, almost.

Previously I had Win 98se but now that Win 98 is almost
a relic I cannot find anywhere to upgrade my Win 98 to Win 98se...

Can someone out there tell me how to get this?

    Thanks,

    skyman

Other than finding someone with an upgrade (or full) install disk to sell or give you, there is nothing. But Win98SE is really not all that different from Win98, and in fact has some problems 98 does not (tacky shutdown issues which require patches, for example)

If you upgrade your version of IE, you've probably got just as good or better a system.

Skyman, I looked at my CD "Windows 98 Second Edition and it is printed on the CD - "For New PC's Only'. I got this with my Dell so I don't know if they are available for general use or not. You could call Dell for info 800-624-9896. It is worth a free call.

skyman, thanks; I'm sure others would have probably said the same.
