I have a NT 4.0 machine which will not open Win Explorer with 2 panes. I have the Left pane and I can explore all my users files but I cannot see the contents unless I open them in a new window. I have tried MS support site and every search imaginable no good. I found an artical at MS support site stating if you do not have a right pane or nothing at all to delete the Menubar reg entry at HKEY_CURRANT_USER\Software\Microsoft\InternetExplorer \Main
No go! I have tried to force it to open with the: explorer.exe /e switch and no go. I read a thread here on the Explorer Pane Greyed out/ havent tried it due to it doesn't seem to be the same problem. Please [email protected]!

In windows Explorer, go to view, then Explorer bar, make sure that "Folders" is checked..

It should be similar but as I said I searched the Knowledge base (A JOKE) @ support.microsoft.com but couldn't find much on explorer and NT 4.0 lots on 98,95,NT 3.51 and 2000 but they must have made mega changes between NT 3.51, NT 4 and 2000/XP.
