Win search not working

    My search engine on win xp not working. after I select magnify button " search engine "; only blue column and dog animatiion appear in the left of my screen. without text entry.
    please help me!

    Mickmax, I never saw any kind of magnify button in Search but you may want to go to the link below, click on the "?" to the left of "Why doesn't Search work?" to expand it and you'll find some possible fixes.

    I do that. I installed srchasst.inf and reboot my pc but my problem still exists.

    Start > Run > regsvr32 jscript.dll
    Start > Run > regsvr32 urlmon.dll
    Start > Run > regsvr32 vbscript.dll
    Start > Run > regsvr32 /i %windir%\srchasst\srchui.dll

    You Should Get A Message Like This

    DllRegisterServer in xxx.dll succeeded.
