helpin a friend of mine setup his wireless router
he has a comcast router and AOL service. he also has remnants of bellsouth software.
he says he has adelphia, but i have no idea how that works.

the router address is standard, 192.168.15.1
but the modem address is some weird 66.229.etc stuff...

also, i can't access his modem through the IP address that shows up in his network connections when connected (the weird 66.229.etc one). yet his modem works fine when the desktop is directly connected

Adelphia..bellsouth..aol...comcast......sounds to me like you have need to make a choice...they all won't work togather.
