Windows had a feature that lets he user select the native OS for a program.

It only goes to windoze 95 though... I want to run a program that was designed for DOS, or win 3.1. how do I do this?

It doesn't have a "reboot in DOS mode", and under windoze i get an error message that says my video card is not supported, and I should run the program under DOS.

Any ideas?

XP does not have DOS, only a DOS emulator under Windows.

The closest you can get is to run from a command prompt under this emulator.

Start - All Programs - Accessories - Command Prompt.

Just a dos emulator, that allows you to run all sorts of your old dos favorites. I had norton commander running for a while, but it broke in the latest cvs build.
