I was recently told that there is a maximum number of simultanious network connections that Windows XP can have. I was told its 8 which just sounded weird to me that if there is one that it would be that low. But if so is there a way to remove that limiter or increase the number? Ive been told there is software that will do that as well. If anyone knows of it please let me know.

It's five for XP-Home, 10 for XP-Pro or Windows 2000. The way to increase them is to buy a server version of Windows.
