What makes this strange is I am sharing a folder on win 7 to Xp. I am able to share the folder no problem... The problem is the next day or even a few days later, I am getting the "Cannot be accessed you don't have permission" Why am I able to work with it ... then being denied?

What, if any, non-Windows firewall or security suite do, or did, you have on the Windows 7 machine?

After you get the error message what do you have to do to get file sharing working again?
