First, I want to thank those on this forum who have provided very helpful answers in the past. You have all saved me on a number of occasions!

I am trying to help some colleagues with two of their computers that seem to be impacted by -- something -- yet so far I have not been able to get to the bottom of it. Here's what I've done so far:

    1. Looked over all computers in their office - two computers (lets call them A&B) are particularly slow when it comes to sites like Hotmail and Gmail... yet load other sites like Google.com or latimes.com with little delay. All other computers in the office seem to be immune to these slowdowns. My guess was a correlation between slowness and needing to connect via HTTPS, but I honestly don't know a lot about this.

    2. Both computers were given full scans of AVG 9, and Malwarebytes, plus I ran a Panda scan on Computer B. Computer A had a number of things turn up in Malwarebytes, but a second scan after a repair/restart brought that down to 0. So now both are reporting no issues from all scans.

    3. Computer A had initially not loaded hotmail at all... after the Malwarebytes repair, it started behaving like Computer B, loading Hotmail, yet very slowly ("Waiting" was common at the bottom of the Firefox window). I should clarify... by slowly I mean that an experience that would usually be very snappy (1-2 second load) had stretched into a 10 second load, which was very frustrating for the users of Computers A & B.

    4. I cleared all cache and temp files for both A & B in IE and Firefox both through manual methods of navigating the drive and using Ccleaner. I double checked that the security zone was set to default. Still sluggish on certain sites.

    5. Lastly, after running out of other options, I ran HijackThis. The log file is pasted below, and I would welcome any of your suggestions or further questions.

    Thanks!

    Jeremy
