Win XP SP3 was install successsfully on my AMD system after running this fix from Microsoft - WindowsXP-KP953356-x86-ENu.exe, which is for fixing AMD based motherboard SP3 errors.
Now the system cannot boot into Windows anymore but is continuously rebooting after the Windows logo.
It will only boot up successfully when a USB ext HDD is attached.
How can I get pass this rebooting.
Thnaks in advance for all help.

    Hiya Rong 18.

Put the XP CD in the drive and boot from it by pressing the `Boot Menu` option (probably F11). After the initial loading of basic drivers, press R to go to the recovery console and choose the volume number relevant to your setup (probably 1 for C/WINDOWS).

Type the Admin password if you know it and if you don`t, then it`s probably blank so just hit Enter. At the flashing cursor, type chkdsk /r (notice the space between k and /r) and leave it to do it`s work hopefully recovering and/or repairing anything it finds wrong.

When it`s finished, type exit to reboot the machine and fingers crossed, into XP.
