Another thread on stuck at boot, but my exact issue is slightly different..... i get stuck as per attached file, just as the Dell logo pops up and the progress bar sits at 15%, but....

if I hit F2 or F12 and go into and straight out of these setup/boot options menus, by EXIT WITHOUT SAVING CHANGES the boot recovers and off we go as normal....

Wheres my gremlin - any ideas welcomed ?

    Thanks, Simon.

At that point in the boot it's still going through POST so removing any non-essential hardware like Usb sticks/Printers etc is a good idea to see if it stops the freezing.

I don't think Windows Update could be the cause though.

Looks like it was usb sticks, removed them all and issue has gone away, started putting them back one at a time and all ok now, appreciate the help, Simon.
