Hiya

After a recent upgrade from Win98 to 2000, I have had a look around, as you do.
anyway, in

c:\windows\setup\shell\

there what appears, my original programs again, but in shortcut mode. Now, is it safe to remove these? I can always zip them for a month to be safe.
Its just that its all my Internet History, favorites, shortcuts to programs, of which I have in the actual WINNT.

Regards

eddie

Okay

Not the shortcuts to programs. Although I haven't loaded Mastersplitter onto this 2000, my shortcut still loads it. Ignore them.

I assume its okay for the IE stuff. Just like normal?
